We are watching construction move forward bit by bit, and this week we watched the exterior wall of the south side of our main building get demolished. What a sight! Clients have had a lot of questions over the past few weeks, so we thought it might help to answer some of the most common questions.
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Construction Project
1) How long will you be working out of the Integrative Services location? Are you moving to Integrative Services permanently?
While we are happy to have an alternative site to see appointments separate from the noise and dust of construction work, we definitely don’t plan to continue working out of Integrative Services forever! Construction is slated to be finished around the start of 2024, and we’ll return to business as usual as soon as we can. Integrative Services will continue to be used for acupuncture appointments long-term.
2) Which building do I go to with my pet?
In general, all doctor’s appointments, technician/lab appointments, prescription pick ups, and food pick ups are at Integrative Services. Surgeries, dental procedures, and patients who need to be admitted for the day (i.e. for sedated x-rays) are seen at the main St Francis building because that is where our surgery suite, dental suite, and radiology equipment is located.

3) I tried to bring my pet to the main St Francis building as instructed, but the door was locked and the lobby was dark. What do I do?
Because the majority of our staff is at Integrative Services, we are only allowing clients into the main St Francis building as needed. Even though the lobby is dark, the staff is there! If no one is there to greet you when you arrive, ring the doorbell on the front door or call us at 651-645-2808 and we will let the staff know to come meet you.
4) Why is St Francis under construction?
We needed to make some updates to the building and decided to take the opportunity to add some more space as well. This addition gives us more space for exam rooms and for our treatment area, adds an office for our practice manager and assistant practice manager, and gives us an accessible client restroom. We are excited to have a brighter, calmer, more Fear-Free space for our clients and patients!
5) Has Integrative Services always been there?
St Francis added the Integrative Service location seven years ago to provide a quiet, relaxing space for our acupuncture patients. We are so grateful to have this space so we can continue to see our patients throughout construction!
6) Are the two facilities going to be connected somehow?
No, once construction is done, we will move all our services aside from acupuncture back over to the main building.
7) Where is Integrative Services located?
Integrative Services is at 1235 Larpenteur Ave W. For reference, the main St Francis building is 1227 Larpenteur Ave W. Integrative Services is just west of the main practice, located in the strip mall between Auto Zone and the laundromat. Our next door neighbor is the Jamaican restaurant.
