Veterinary Practice Manager
Molly Moy
After graduating from Globe College in 2002, Molly joined St. Francis Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. She was promoted to Veterinary Technician in 2004 and Office Manager in 2006. In 2010, she became St. Francis’ first Veterinary Practice Manager.
Molly manages all aspects of St. Francis including employee management and training, human resources, information technology (IT), regulatory management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, marketing, social media, financial management, and public relations/community involvement. In addition, she serves as one of our most experienced technicians. She is a member of the national WellMP Management Group for veterinary practice management as well as the Greater South Veterinary Practice Management Network (VMPN). She is currently working towards her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVMP) certification.
She shares a home with her husband, Chad; daughters Ellie and Mia; two cats, Angus and Butters; and two Boston Terriers, Brutus and Pinky.
Veterinary Technicians
Kelly Cegla, CVT
Kelly is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). Kelly joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2003 soon after graduating from Argosy University with her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology. Kelly is one of our most experienced veterinary technicians. Her professional interests include veterinary anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and radiology. She has played an important role in developing our anesthesia, surgical, and dental protocols, as well as our Radiology Policies & Procedures manual for St. Francis.
Kelly serves as one of our Senior Veterinary Technicians. In addition to her technician duties, she manages inventory and purchasing, serves as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), and is the Veterinary Technician Team Leader involved in the hiring, training, and management of the veterinary technician team.
Outside of work, she shares her home with a Black Labrador, Howard.
Marie Adamcyzk
Marie joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2002. She has attended classes at Normandale Community and Technical College. Marie is one of our most experienced veterinary technicians. Her professional interests include geriatrics, hospice/palliative care, pain management, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been involved with the development of our hospice/palliative care and at-home euthanasia services within our practice.
Marie serves as one of our Senior Veterinary Technicians. In addition to her technician duties, she serves as our practice’s Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Officer and is the Veterinary Assistant Team Leader involved in the management and training of the veterinary assistant team.
When she is not at St Francis, she enjoys every moment with her crazy Doberman, Koa. Marie also offers her own in-home pet-sitting services for clients. Marie’s service allows your pet the comfort of your own home when you are away while giving you peace of mind about your pet’s well being. Tammy Wylie, CVT
Tammy is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She graduated from Globe College with her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Veterinary Technology in 2003 and joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in November 2003. In 2011, she received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Hamline University.
Tammy is one of our most experienced veterinary technicians. In addition to her work at St. Francis, Tammy is also working in the field of forensics. She started her forensics career at the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and is now at Maplewood Police Department as an Evidence Technician.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her handsome black cat named Peanut Panther Sloan-Wylie III.
Liz Gunter, CVT
Liz is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2007 after graduating with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology from the Certified Veterinary Technician Program at Globe College. In addition to her technician duties at St. Francis, she was promoted to the position of Client Service Representative in 2010.
Outside of St. Francis, she has recently obtained her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Laboratory Technology and is certified through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She lives with her son, Derek; her dog, Chance; and two cats, Mama Kitty and Oreo.
Amanda Wera, CVT
Amanda is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She joined St. Francis after graduating from Minnesota School of Business with her Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Veterinary Technology degree in 2008.
In addition to her work at St Francis, Amanda works as an Assistant Closer at a title company. When she is not working, Amanda enjoys sporting events, fitness, and spending time with family and friends. She shares a home with her boyfriend and her dog, Suzie.
Maggie Libman, CVT
Maggie joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2009 as a Veterinary Assistant. In September 2010, she graduated from Argosy University with her Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology. She passed her national certification exam in December 2010 to earn her title of Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).
In addition to her technician duties, she is the Junior Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and shares responsibility for the radiology regulations and training within the practice.
Maggie lives in Inver Grove Heights with her husband Michael; two cats, Jinx and Minx; a lovable Boston Terrier, Spud and an energetic French Bulldog, Dotti. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Jessica Lewis
Jessica joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in the spring of 2011 as a Veterinary Assistant and was promoted to the position of Veterinary Technician in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Science in 2013 and is now pursuing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the University of Minnesota (Class of 2018). She plans to track small animal and may pursue additional education after she receives her DVM degree. She is currently considering specialization in dentistry, oncology, or surgery. She is involved with various groups within the college including the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA), the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA), Student Society of Veterinary Surgery (SSVS), Student Initiative for Reservation Veterinary Sciences (SIRVS), and VeTouch.
Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and playing with her Australian Shepherds, Tig and Boomhauer.
Laura Berg, CVT
Laura graduated from Argosy University in the spring of 2008 with her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology. Shortly after graduating, she moved with her husband, Dan, to Northern Wisconsin. She worked at a newly owned small animal clinic before deciding to move back to the Twin Cities to be closer to family and friends. She earned her certification to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in August 2012, and joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in January 2013.
She spends a lot of her time with her pets – two dogs, Horton (Bulldog) and Theo (Corgi); cat, Ninja; and a cockatiel, Petri. She enjoys snowboarding, watching the Minnesota Wild, and spending time with family and friends.
Sabrina Reed, CVT
Sabrina graduated from Globe University with her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology in March 2013 and joined St. Francis Animal Hospital shortly afterwards.
She shares her home with her husband and her two dogs, Tucker and Gabriel. She is an advocate against breed specific legislation and takes a special interest in animal behavior. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her oversized family (including nearly a dozen nieces and nephews), running, and enjoying the outdoors.
Christine Severance, CVT
Chris graduated from Globe University in March of 2014 with her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in April of 2014.
In addition to her technician duties, she has been involved with the development of our hospice/palliative care and at-home euthanasia services within our practice. She is currently working on her certification as a Pet Loss Counselor through the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement.
She lives in Oakdale with husband, Cole; stepson Devin; two dogs, Shadow and Kody; and a chinchilla, Chinzilla. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and biking.
Veterinary Assistants
Lucy Hancock
Lucy joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2012 as a Veterinary Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bio-Medical Science with an emphasis in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2018).
She has taken care of animals throughout her life through her own pet ownership and pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and relatives. Lucy lives with her fiancé, Jared, and two dogs, a French Mastiff, Roxy, and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Mika. She is also a proud owner of two Miniature Pot Bellied pigs, Petey and Sebastian, and a goat, Nibbles. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Allison Gedstad
Allison began working as a Veterinary Assistant at St. Francis Animal Hospital following her junior year at Roseville Area High School. She is currently an undergraduate student pursuing her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at the University of Minnesota. She is a dedicated student and hopes to pursue her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in the future.
Allison has enjoyed learning about veterinary medicine and loves working with the animals every day at the clinic. Outside of work, Allison spends her free time running, reading, fostering dogs, and of course, playing with her dog, Roxy.
Katarina Ziegler
Katarina joined St. Francis Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant in the summer of 2012. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior with a minor in Anthropology. In the future, she plans to continue her education and earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
In addition to her role at St. Francis, she enjoys working as a dog trainer and has a special interest in animal behavior. She lives in Minneapolis with her energetic dog, Arrow, and two playful ferrets, Wally and Liesel. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and traveling.
Sarah Knowles
Sarah joined St. Francis Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant in 2012. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2010 and has worked at aquariums in Minnesota, Miami and New Orleans caring for many animals including fish, sharks, sea turtles, corals and jellyfish. Currently, she is a veterinary student at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine (UMN) earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree (Class of 2017). Sarah is involved in many organizations including the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association (WAVMA), UMN Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA), UMN Surgery Club, and UMN Small Ruminant and Camelid Club. She also holds leadership positions in the UMN Student Chapter of American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA) and UMN Zoological, Exotic, Avian and Wildlife Club (ZEAW). Sarah hopes to work in Minnesota with small animals, exotics and aquatic animals after finishing her DVM degree.
Outside of work, Sarah likes to spend time with her family, friends, and saltwater fish. Some of her favorite hobbies include being outdoors, playing soccer, doing arts and crafts, and experiencing new things. She looks forward to adding a new cat to her family in the near future and finishing her DVM degree.
Hannah Hodnefield
Hannah joined St. Francis Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant in the summer of 2014. She is currently an undergraduate student earning her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at the University of Northwestern St. Paul. She intends to continue her education and earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in the future.
When she is not working or studying, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family, which of course, includes her two Labrador Retrievers, Ellie and Annie.
Anastasia Johns
Annie joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2014 as a Veterinary Assistant. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, receiving a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in music. She is currently a veterinary student at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree (Class of 2017).
Outside of work Annie enjoys spending time with her cat, Joule; horse, Medora; and her new puppy, Briar.
Abigail Onofrey
Abigail joined St. Francis Animal Hospital in 2014 as a Veterinary Assistant. She is currently enrolled at Globe University pursuing her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology. In addition to her work at St. Francis, she works as a dog walker in the Minneapolis area.
Abigail lives in St. Paul with her boyfriend; four dogs, Toto, Bella, Chloe, and Molly, and an English Spot rabbit, Penelope. When she is not working or in school, she enjoys walking around Lake Como with her dogs, working on crafts, watching Minnesota Wild hockey, and relaxing and watching Netflix.
Our Clinic Mascot
Tobias Matthew
Tobias Matthew, also known as Toby, came to St. Francis in November of 2007. After several urinary tract obstructions, we performed a perineal urethrostomy, a special surgery that involved removing a portion of his urethra. He now eats a prescription food and requires regular rechecks, but has not had an obstruction since 2007. He is our official mascot – you will likely find him perched atop the front counter or lounging in the sun in the lobby. His hobbies include playing with his favorite toy mouse, crawling on top of the cabinets, and sleeping in the sun.
