Hospice Care & Pet Loss
At St Francis, we understand that our pets are our family members and our closest friends, and we know how difficult it is to say goodbye. We are here to support and guide you so that you don’t have to travel this path alone.
At St. Francis, we strongly believe in treasuring the end of life. Our hospice program has been built around this philosophy. We understand how difficult it is to watch your loved one age or to receive a terminal diagnosis for your beloved family member. Our compassionate, caring veterinarians and staff are here for you. We will provide the education you need to understand your pet’s medical condition and the treatment options that may be available. Hospice and palliative care therapy including pain management, anti-anxiety medications, and nutritional support will be discussed when appropriate. If you’ve already reached a decision to elect euthanasia, we will support you and guide you in that process.
We will be working side-by-side with you to provide the best possible care for your loved one every step of the way. We are honored to be a part of your family during this difficult time, and we are here to support you and guide you from beginning to end. In addition, our Pet Loss Library, Pet Loss Support Resources, and Pet Memorials offer you a variety of resources and support during this difficult time. If we can help you and your family in any other way, please contact us at (651) 645-2808 or group@stfrancisabh.com.
